Hello, I’m Chris.
I'm an independent designer, based in Dorset. I take a small number of projects at a time, and give each one enough time to get it properly right.
SUMWEN is my independent creative studio, and I keep things personal, straightforward and properly considered. No unnecessary layers, no passing projects between departments, just direct communication and hands-on creative work from start to finish.
I work across branding, websites, print and digital, and I bring the same level of care and attention to every project. More recently, that also includes helping businesses make better use of AI, understanding where it can genuinely add value and where a more human approach still works best.
Based in Dorset, the work is bold, considered and built to last. Good design doesn’t need to be overcomplicated. Strong ideas, clear decisions and thoughtful execution will always come first.
